 Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Account Executive will be responsible for the acquisition of new payment processing accounts in the software and eGoods industry. This is a B2B sales role in a Web 2.0 environment that requires locating, identifying, cold-calling and closing new customers worldwide in the digital online market space. The ideal candidate must excel at all stages of the sales cycle and comfortable presenting in a face-to-face environment.

 As an Account Executive you will take on a senior “hunter” sales role and will focus your time on outbound prospecting, developing a pipeline and bringing new customers on board. 

  Responsibilities:

  • Initiate outbound telephone sales calls to potential new clients worldwide and to achieve revenue and sales targets
  • Develop & build a client base utilizing proven sales prospecting techniques including Internet research, email, probing, lead generation & cold calling
  • Maintain an accurate forward looking sales pipelines of relevant winnable opportunities
  • Research, seek & contact key decision makers
  • Present complex concepts and platforms via collaborative net conferencing tools such as WebEx/LiveMeeting
  • Demonstrate drive, persistence and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets within a team sales environment

 

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant post secondary education (or equivalent)
  • 2-5 years of previous successful sales experience in an dynamic acquisition based sales environment
  • Background in Internet, software, ecommerce, affiliate marketing and payment processing
  • Possess a solid reputation for high standards of excellence throughout sales cycle
  • Familiarity with CRM and Marketing software and technology an asset
  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills in English with competency in a second language will be considered a great asset.
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas along with experience selling B2B solutions and services
  • Experience and success working within a team sales environment to achieve common goals & targets
